Free CertAVN Taster Session: ECG Interpretation for the Anaesthesia RVN ⚡ 

 

Do you find ECGs a bit intimidating - all those spikes, dips and squiggles? You’re not alone! This free online taster session with Niamh Clancy, Anaesthesia RVN, Senior Teaching Fellow and pathway lead for the Anaesthesia CertAVN, at the RVC, will help demystify ECGs and show you how to apply them with confidence in the theatre and ward. 

 

You’ll learn: 

  • How to recognise normal vs abnormal rhythms

  • The most common arrhythmias encountered during anaesthesia

  • Practical tips for monitoring patients under GA

  • How understanding ECGs can make you a stronger, calmer anaesthesia RVN 

 

This session gives you practical take-home skills and a taste of the kind of advanced, career-energising learning you’ll experience on the Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (CertAVN)
