Open Day

About this Event

The RVC’s Open Day at the Hertfordshire Campus is an all-encompassing, immersive, and informative event for prospective students, parents/guardians and advisors.

This annual event is the largest and most popular on-campus visiting opportunity in the RVC calendar. The day will offer in-depth pathway presentations and the opportunity to speak with lead academics and passionate Student Ambassadors from the RVC's three undergraduate pathways: Biological Sciences, Veterinary Medicine and Veterinary Nursing. To ensure that all areas of the RVC are represented on the day; professionals from Accommodation, Admissions, Learning and Wellbeing and the Students' Union will be on-hand to share their insight through informal conversations. There are a multitude of activities simultaneously running throughout the day, such as campus tours, behind the scenes access to hospital facilities, the chance to undertake hands-on clinical skills, rare access to Boltons Park Farm and also accommodation viewings.

This access-all-areas Open Day offers the opportunity for you to envision what being an RVC student is like; to help you decide whether the RVC is your best fit.
